Welcome to the shop*!
Here you can look at the TWO books I have published in 2023 and get them by contacting me, heading to one of the shops that stock my books or going to an online store (click on the books below for more info and the online options).

You can also examine a few other projects I'm working on below and even commission me to write a poem for your own special occasion!

I've also been hired to host of a variety of events, run workshops, create publications for other creatives and have spent 17 years teaching people English, Media and Film (and even Maths)! Check out the "Other Stuff" below to see if I can be of help to you.

*Well, not really a shop as you cannot (yet) purchase directly from here due to internet costs etc and the strong desire for me to sell directly overrides the wanting to give other people your money!

Books

Take It As Red

A collection of work that revolves around the colour of red: from 'red tape' to 'painting the town red' and ultimately 'seeing red', you'll end up with 'red on you' as well... If you like your poetry with flow and rhythm, some with rhyme and some in blank verse, this is the collection for you.

Let Memory Be Green

A collection of work that revolve around the colour green: from being 'green around the gills' and seeing the 'green eyed monster' to recalling the 'green days of youth', you'll 'let memory be green. In short, a book of 'green magic'. Some describe as more thoughtful than Take It as Red, some think it more emotional - have a look and then you can decide!

Commission a work

Sometimes the card shop or the website hasn't got that specific message that you desire to say something. Sometimes you are wanting to celebrate an event or an occasion and need someone else to put it into words. Sometimes, we need to say goodbye to someone and want a poem to capture the memories we want to share with others. If I can help, please ask. Click here for more info.

Workshops / Hosting / Compèring

So the first time I was asked to host an event was to 200 steampunk convention attendees in 2012. And, since then, I've organised and ran workshops, hosted many 'open mics', ran discussion panels, assisted with book launches and, very recently,
resumed my role as a crazed scientist called Saccadius Cartwright

in The British Library to an audience of 500 people!

Desk top publishing / creation of...

If the image above is what you recall of computers, chances are you may be a similar age to myself (or older?) and might not have the time to create a ... poster/pamphlet/flyer/something random or yet be able to edit a document/form/picture/'thingumajig!'

You may need some help with getting something online or promoting an event. I will most likely be able to help!
